Tina Powroznik - Coordinator

Although a native to the sunny beaches of San Diego, Tina Powroznik considers the Northwest her true home.  An adrenaline junkie, and gear addict she is always planning her next outdoor adventure.  Whether it be backpacking, mountain biking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, skiing or hiking, if it’s the weekend, you can bet she’ll be outdoors.  Her favorite meal after a long backpacking trip is a cup of Starbucks coffee and her mom’s banana pancakes.

Rick James - Coordinator

On the rare occasion that Rick is not traveling, gardening, doing woodworking/carpentry, or taking photos, one can find him playing softball, hiking or sleeping. Our San Antonio, Texas, native got his start in the outdoors through YMCA Indian Guides and vacations at state parks throughout the southeast with his family.  Rick probably eats more smoked meat with garlic smashed potatoes than is really legal.

Larissa Fee - Coordinator

Larissa Fee cultivated her love for the outdoors as a small tyke running with her dad over the hills and dales of nearby Edmonds, Washington. Nowadays, she’s big on hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing, and running, with a side of frisbee. Her main dish is large slices of pizza, with toppings galore, and if you want to get on her good side, bring her a nice cup of coffee too.

Lisa Dale - Coordinator

Super athlete Lisa (M.) Dale enjoys basketball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, softball, rock climbing, and soccer. Lisa was lucky enough to grow up on a ranch in Hunters, Washington, near Spokane, and was introduced to the outdoors through a high school trip to the Olympic Peninsula and the Hoh Rain Forest. With all this activity, relaxing is rare, but when Lisa chills out, you can find her snuggling up with a book or good movie.

Janelle Baarspul - Coordinator

Janelle, our resident SCUBA darling from Chehalis, Washington, also tears it up in a myriad of other activities such as hiking, sea kayaking, backpacking, rock climbing, volleyball, and soccer. Janelle was born and raised in the outdoors ever since her parents went camping on their honeymoon. She’s so active that her favorite (and quick) food is popcorn and she often enjoys gourmet versions of it for dinner (don’t knock it till ya try it).

Meilee Lim – Coordinator - Communications

Meilee Lim is a native of Pleasanton, CA, and can be viewed on many a day racing 6-man outrigger canoes, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, or multitasking.  She began all of this at an early age when her parents took her into the great outdoors.  For fueling, Meilee prefers entrees such as steak, sashimi, Vietnamese cuisine or Authentic Mexican and often excels at making her own vittles for friends.

Eric Studerus - Coordinator

Eric grew up in Auburn, Washington, and claims that he will participate in any sport, but only once a year. He was introduced to the outdoors through a friend, and spends most of his non-sport oriented free time battling and winning victories with plumbing and electrical connections in his new house. Eric’s favorite food is anything home-cooked, and those of us in the know attest that he makes a mean pineapple teriyaki chicken sandwich.

Rebecca Jones – Mars Hill Outdoors Coordinator

Becky Jones inherited her love of adventure while growing up in Ft. Collins, Colorado.  Since moving to Seattle, she has become enraptured by the plethora of activities at her avail. There aren’t many things Rebecca doesn’t like to do or won’t try - her fav’s include Rock Climbing, Snowboarding, Ultimate Frisbee, and heating up the nights with Salsa dancing.  An avid traveler, she has already explored Africa, Europe, South America, and Asia.  Rebecca is just as comfortable in the kitchen as she is in the mountains. Her specialty is banana, oatmeal, chocolate chip cookies!
