I’m doing my very best to become a winter-lover, and snowshoeing is growing on me more and more as the season goes on. Why, you may ask? I liken it to kayaking in the summer. Sure, there are faster ways to experience the scenery (skis, snowboards, jetskis, speed boats), but if you take your time and move under your own volition, you get to see much more detail and truly experience the silence and grandeur of the outdoors.
Which is really better communicated by actually showing than telling.
(I just have to say of that last image: Rocks with hats are funny to me, particularly the hats that look like badly rendered toupees)
