It’s the season for grand vistas, and we want to help you enjoy the view!

Mt. Dickerman (near Granite Falls) - Well known for its incredible views, this hike is steep but well worth the switchbacks. Once you make it to the top, you will be able to see Mt. Baker and Glacier Peak, plus many lesser-known beauties in a breathtaking 180-degree view.

Mt. Pugh (Mt. Baker National Forest) - While not a beginner hike due to its ridge trails and scrambling near the top, the views you will find at the lookout will delight all who dare to take the challenge of this climb. Take your time and bring climbing gear if you have it, and the reward will be worth your effort.
Hike distance: 11 miles round trip
Elevation gain: 5400 feet

Mt. Pilchuck (near Granite Falls) - This hike is probably the easiest out of those listed, but it still is quite the workout to reach the lookout perched at the mountain peak. Best to hike in the late summer or fall due to a lingering snow pack, and once you reach the top, Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainier, other Cascades peaks, and the Puget Sound will keep you company.
Hike distance: 6 miles round trip
Elevation gain: 2166 feet

Mt. Si (near North Bend) - While this trail is wild and steep, prepare for lots of company and highway noise as you climb your way to the top. You can’t beat the convenience, though, and once you reach the rocks at the top (called the Haystack, and great for rock climbers), you can see Seattle, the Olympics, and scenic I-90.
